Just Five Things- Ramadan Kareem!

Ramadan Mubarak! The holy holiday of Ramadan has started this week. Ramadan is a holy, month-long observance for Muslim communities around the globe. Muslims observe Ramadan by fasting from sunup to sundown, praying together, and holding communal meals and festivities. There are about 1.9 billion Muslims worldwide, representing approximately 25 percent of the world's population. During this time, it's essential that workspaces are inclusive, and 6 ways to Support Muslim Coworkers During Ramadan can provide some helpful first steps.

Water scarcity is not only a global issue, it's a national issue as well. In the United States, from Jackson, MS, to Scottsdale, Ariz, we see the impact of US cities running out of clean water. We all must be aware of this issue and create opportunities for dialogue and action. We must always infuse our advocacy work with joy to make meaningful changes in the world!

The Tiwi Islands are part of the Northern Territory in Australia and consist of two large inhabited islands. The Tiwi people are native to the land and are proud of their deep-rootedness to the land.
